Chengzheng Middle School was the first to create a correctional school for juveniles. It joined hands with the National Vocational School in the Hsinchu area to carry out the teaching activity of "Traveling and Reading Bamboo Together!". This case introduces the spirit of "NPDL Deep Learning". Leading juvenile correctional education into the innovation mileage of information integration into teaching.
Chengzheng Middle School conducts courses through online teaching and cross-school interaction through video equipment connection. Through the interaction and sharing between the teachers and students of the two schools, the students of Chengzheng Middle School can understand the local culture of Zhuchuang and connect with the local identity.
Juvenile correctional schools have always had a high threshold for information integration into teaching due to the consideration of guarding safety and equipment capacity. Under the premise of taking care and information security into consideration, the school will continue to promote the integration of information into teaching and inter-school cooperation courses, so that within the high walls of juvenile correctional education, there will be a teaching model and teaching quality that keep pace with the times.
This case participated in the "2022 Smiling Taiwan Creative Teaching Plan Competition" hosted by Commonwealth Magazine. From 430 participating teachers, 140 teaching plan evaluations stood out and won the special award "Hanlin Publishing Education Priority Award".
